Publicis Groupe announced today Saatchi & Saatchi brand will be transferred to Publicis Groupe consolidated holding in Bucharest, effective January 1, 2015

LONDON, BUCHAREST – November 11th, 2014

Publicis Groupe and Centrade Saatchi & Saatchi today announced that the Saatchi & Saatchi brand will be consolidated in Romania under one single legal entity, Lion Communication SA, majority-owned by Publicis Groupe. The Legal entity will manage all 3 Publicis Groupe Brands, that is Publicis, Leo Burnett and Saatchi&Saatchi. The move takes effect January 1, 2015. After this date, the current operations and team, led by Radu Florescu, will continue to function as an independent entity maintaining its client portfolio.

The move by Publicis Groupe is part of a global strategy to consolidate brands under one Majority-owned Legal Entity, and to bring aggregation and regional synergies to the markets.
